Qualifications & Experience Requirements for Social worker Assistant :

Previous Experience as a Social worker Assistant preferred

Valid Social Worker License

Two years experience working directly with geriatric clients in a health care setting, desirable

MSW, CSW preferred

Customer service, in-person and over the telephone

Some knowledge of medical insurance, Medicare / Medicaid program benefits, desirable

Discharge planning

Computer literacy, able to fax, scan, email

Experience in clinical patient conferences
