Autumn Woods Health Care Facility in Warren is seeking a Maintenance Aide to become a member of our elite team. Our nursing and rehab facility comprises compassionate, dependable, courteous, and informative individuals. The Maintenance Assistant is responsible for the routine upkeep of all facility areas inside and outside the building. These responsibilities include but are not limited to troubleshooting HVAC systems, lighting, indoor climate control, emergency cleaning, and upkeep requests. This position reports to the Maintenance Supervisor.
Essential duties and Responsibilities :
- Perform general clean-up of all areas of the building as directed
- Manage routine upkeep of exterior areas, green space, and parking lot
- Complete non-routine cleaning according to specified job orders
- Remove rubbish and recycling daily and prepare bins for weekly pick-up
- Handle emergency cleaning and upkeep requests
- Ensure rooms are maintained and fully equipped
- Troubleshoot issues with an HVAC system, lighting, and indoor climate control as necessary
- Ensure building safety rules are implemented and maintained.
