Activities Director

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing an ongoing program of activities designed to meet the physical, mental, and psychological well-being of our guests. This will involve working closely with our staff, volunteers, and visitors to create engaging and inclusive experiences for all.

Responsibilities
- Complete assessments and develop care plans to design activities that meet the needs and interests of each guest.
- Plan and implement activities that engage and involve facility, staff, volunteers, and visitors.
- Escort guests to and from activities as needed.
- Post monthly activity calendars to keep everyone informed.
- Manage Activities Assistants in facilitating guest engagement in activities.
Qualifications
- Licensed or registered by the State if applicable, and eligible for certification as a therapeutic recreation specialist or activities professional.
- Two years of experience in a social or recreational program, or equivalent qualifications.
- High school diploma required.
