Aux Partners works exclusively with a great family-owned Managed Services company in KC that is seeking an experienced IT Field Technician. This individual would be responsible for both in-person and remote troubleshooting, maintenance, and implementation of new hardware and software. Additionally, they must be comfortable with external client interaction, and the ability to travel throughout the KC area when needed.
Responsibilities
- On-site support: Providing technical assistance at client locations when necessary, addressing hardware and software problems, and installing new equipment.
- Troubleshooting and repair: Diagnosing and resolving issues with computer systems, networks, and peripherals via an internal ticketing system.
- Installation and configuration: Setting up new hardware and software, ensuring compatibility and proper functioning.
- Network maintenance: Maintaining and optimizing computer networks, including cabling, routers, and switches.
- Client interaction: Communicating with clients to understand their needs and provide technical support.
- Documentation: Maintaining records of repairs, installations, and maintenance activities.
- Staying updated: Keeping abreast of the latest technologies and best practices in IT.
