Be part of a growing and prospering company as an Enrollment Auditor/Trainer in our Cedar Rapids, IA office. Auxiant is a third party administrator of self-funded employee benefit plans with offices in Cedar Rapids, IA, Madison and Milwaukee, WI. Job Summary:
The Enrollment Department Auditor and Trainer is responsible for ensuring the operational effectiveness for enrollment coordinators by drafting enrollment processes, conducting audits, analyzing enrollment standards, and delivering training programs to enhance staff performance. This role requires a balance of analytical skills, and training expertise to promote continuous improvement and maintain high standards of service to clients and members.
Essential Functions:
Auditing:
1. Conduct detailed audits of enrollment entries and procedures
2. Evaluate records, documentation, and workflows for accuracy and completeness.
3. Identify inefficiencies, discrepancies, or potential risks, and recommend corrective actions.
4. Develop and implement audit checklists and tools for consistent evaluation.
5. Prepare comprehensive audit reports, summarizing findings, corrective actions, and recommendations for process improvements.
6. Monitor the implementation of corrective measures and follow up to ensure resolution of identified issues.
Training:
1. Design, develop, and deliver effective training programs tailored to the needs of the TPA staff, including onboarding, refresher courses, and skill development sessions.
2. Educate employees on company policies, industry regulations, and best practices to ensure consistent performance and compliance.
3. Conduct one-on-one coaching sessions to address specific areas of improvement.
4. Develop training materials, including manuals, presentations, and e-learning content, to facilitate knowledge transfer.
5. Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through assessments, feedback, and performance metrics.
6. Stay updated on industry trends and integrate new concepts into training sessions to maintain relevance.
Collaboration and Communication:
1. Work closely with enrollment leadership to align audits and training initiatives with departmental goals.
2. Serve as a liaison between enrollment leadership and staff to address concerns and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
3. Provide ongoing guidance and support to employees in understanding process requirements and operational standards.
Nonessential Functions:
· Minimal travel as needed to Madison office
· Complete additional projects as needed and/or assigned.
· Other duties as assigned or appropriate
Education/Qualifications:
1. Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Training & Development, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
2. Proven experience in auditing, training, or a related role, preferably in a TPA environment.
3. Strong knowledge relevant to third-party administration.
4. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
5. Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and concisely.
6. Proficiency in using audit tools, training software, and office applications (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite, Learning Management Systems) is a plus.
7. Certification in auditing or training (e.g., Certified Internal Auditor, Certified Professional in Training Management) is a plus.
