Be part of a growing and prospering company as a PBM (Prescription Benefit Manager) Coordinator for our Cedar Rapids, IA office. Auxiant is a third party administrator of self-funded employee benefit plans with offices in Cedar Rapids, IA, Madison and Milwaukee, WI. Job Summary:
This position will be responsible for maintaining relationships with our PBM (Prescription Benefit Manager) partners as it pertains to mappings for new groups along with changes to existing groups. The PBM coordinator will need to posses the ability to troubleshoot problems pertaining to PBM extracts and/or set up to find the root cause and bring to solution. Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills are essential, as the coordinator collaborates with cross-functional teams and deliver high-quality service to both internal and external stakeholders.
Essential Functions:
- Gather and document PBM mappings for new groups and group changes.
- Update internal documents/transmittals with PBM information
- Document group accumulator set up and changes.
- Coordinates drug bills received from the Pharmacy Benefit companies.
- Be a point of contact for PBM’s to receive and save individual RX details
- Make outbound calls to pharmacies to determine member use of coupons at point of sale
- Coordinator handling of reversal of RX claims and Plan Paid portion
- Research and Review of daily Eligibility and Accumulator Load Errors
- Coordinate Client PBM invoices received vs RX details not rcvd for RX claims load
- Research outstanding Pharmacy claim exception reports

Education/Qualifications:
- Data entry experience
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient PC skills including e-mail, record keeping, routine database activity, word processing, spreadsheet and 10-key
- Proven experience in a professional office environment
- Ability to multi-task efficiently
- Must be in current position for one year
- High school diploma and 1-2 years related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience
