Auxiant is currently looking for a candidate to fill in software architect position.

Person in this position leads a group of developers through the entire project life cycle, designs the high-level structure of software systems, makes key decisions about technology, components, and scalability to ensure the solution meets project requirements and business needs.

Software Architect at Auxiant performs the following tasks:

Project Lead

• Manages project retrospective
• Writes high-level scoping and provides expectations for delegated scoping tasks
• Responsible for project velocity
• Participates in discovery meetings
• Coordinates with Product Owner to assure timely completion of MVP
• Coordinates with QA
• Addresses project road blocks

Project Development

• Writes top-level technical scope
• Reviews technical scope
• Performs code reviews
• Responsible for CI/CD during project development
• Responsible for project documentation
• Assist other developers with more challenging tasks

Required skills / experience:

• Proficiency in web development technologies, such as PHP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Familiarity with database design and development with strong focus on scalability and high availability (MySQL).
• Experience with source control systems and version control
• Working knowledge of containerized, distributed environments (Docker/Kubernetes)
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
