Qualifications
High School Diploma or Equivalent Preferred
Skills
Ability to read on a level to comprehend product labels, recipes and safety instructions
Ability to interact with customers, coworkers, and vendors in a diplomatic manner
Ability to work effectively as a team member
Ability to perform routine tasks that are directed to the workstation.
Physical Requirements
Lift 10 lb. routinely
Lift once a day to 10 times a week 50 lbs
Stand for entire shift
Stoop, bend, push, pull throughout a shift
Duties
Wash pots, pans,dishes, utensils manually or with equipment such as dish machines or whirlpool sink.
Restocks pots, pans, dish ware and utensils in customer areas and back of the house. Removes trash and
cardboard from back of the house and customer areas. Log temperatures of dish machines. Test the
concentration of dishwasher sanitizing agents in sinks. Cleans floors, mats, equipment and work surfaces.
May use a floor machine. Maintains cleanliness and organization of the chemical storage and mop room.
Uses commercial strength chemicals to clean, sanitize and polish. Shovels snow and salts doorways and
loading dock entrances. Reviews fire extinguishers monthly for charging and usability.
Assists in other areas with food preparation duties as needed.
Any duties as assigned based on business needs.
