Under the supervision of the Maintenance Manager, the General Mechanic is responsible for the repair and maintenance of Dining Service equipment. This is a full-time, temporary position for an undetermined amount of time.
Required Qualifications: A High School Diploma or GED. One satisfactorily completed year as a Service and Repair person. At least two years of training in refrigeration, electrical, plumbing, or carpentry, in an accredited trade school. A valid driver's license to operate your employer's trucks, vans, and automobiles. Insurable on an unrated, non-pool basis in a company authorized to do insurance in New York State. Equivalent military education and experience will be considered.
