Auxilior Capital Partners is looking for someone who is a self-motivator and can work Independently in a fast-paced environment. This position is primarily responsible for the processing of deal flow and credit adjudication with ACP's Vendor Finance Transportation and Construction vertical segments. The incumbent will be responsible for the highest level of credit productivity, and adherence to turn around requirements, and the firms credit policy, procedures, and risk rating methodologies. Reporting to our Vice President of Credit.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Responsible for the processing of deal flow from assigned vendors in the transportation and construction vertical markets ensuring the highest level of credit productivity, adherence to program service level turnaround agreement, and act in accordance with established business unit policies and procedures
Assist the VP Credit-Score Card and Data Analytics with the development and continued maintenance of an automated score card product
Prepare written analysis, transaction approval summaries, and as requested industry studies to assist in the making of lending decisions on new, renewal and extensions in accordance with policy
Exercise credit authority including the assessments of credit grading for new and existing credit relationships
Participate in discussions with key stakeholders regarding credit worthiness of pending or pre-screen requests
Present analytical results and written conclusions to all levels of management
Process appeals and changes to original decisions
Establish and maintain a strong working relationship with the business unit departments, and credit committee
Review, approve or recommend business unit overline requests
Communicate with business unit staff as to transactions under review assisting in structuring, and working through credit and risk issues
Develop strong working relationships with the sales force, platform managers, operations managers and other team members
Complete special projects for the organization, specific to credit as required
Participates in Saturday and Holiday Rotational Credit Coverage based upon Business Needs
Assist in updating credit criteria as appropriate, based upon risk mitigation, delinquency and portfolio trends to ensure emerging risks are appropriately covered, and mitigated
Keeping abreast of market developments with regard to risk management practices and segment/industry trends, competitive offerings and capabilities
Education AND/OR EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Finance or Accounting preferred, MBA a plus
3 to 5 Years Credit experience involving credit score based underwriting methodologies
Knowledge of the Transportation and Construction industry verticals
Skills and Cometencies:
Strong credit underwriting skills. Analytical and has the demonstrated ability to convert large amounts of data into meaningful recommendations.
Strong understanding of Vendor sourcing business model, and the influence of the vendor/dealer relationship, correlation risk, reliance structures to the transaction risk
Demonstrated ability to prioritize and handle multiple projects under pressure and complete them in a timely manner with a high degree of accuracy as to risk mitigation.
Strong working knowledge of Business and Consumer Credit Bureaus and Reporting Agencies
A decisive decision maker with the ability to provide structured solutions.
Articulate and able to communicate effectively at different levels across the organization.
Knowledge of use in Moody’s Financial Analyst spreading tools, and varying credit adjudication tools used in the credit review process.
