What are the responsibilities and job description for the Summer Information Technology Specialist position at AUXILLARY SERVICES?
The Summer Information Technology Specialist (ITS) will collaborate with the IT Department to execute a range of tasks focused on preparing student-issued devices for the 2025-2026 academic year and providing support for summer school operations as needed.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Current employment as a PTS ITS
- Consistent record of positive attendance and discipline
- Ability to travel to all district buildings as required by job duties
Job Responsibilities:
- Assist with summer school as well as handle device handout/collection
- Cleaning and updating laptops and Chromebooks
- Configuring new devices for the 2025-2026 school year
- Transitioning senior devices for reassignment to incoming freshmen
- Transitioning 7/8 devices for reassignment to incoming K/1
- Performing cleaning, factory resetting, re-enrolling, and assigning all iPads
- Transporting equipment between district buildings
- Setting up and repositioning iPad/Chromebook carts
- Offering assistance for summer school activities as directed by the IT Director/Director of Instructional Technology
- Completing any additional responsibilities assigned by the IT Director/Director of Instructional Technology
Work Schedule:
- Monday through Thursday, 6:00 AM to 3:30 PM
- The final workday will be established based on the available workload.
