Corporate Public Relations Specialist

Auxis Technologies located in Aliso Viejo, is seeking a highly skilled and dynamic Corporate Public Relations Specialist to join our team. This role is integral to shaping and maintaining the public image of our company, ensuring effective communication with the media, stakeholders, and the public. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of corporate communications, media relations, and brand management.

Key Responsibilities:

Media Relations: Develop and maintain relationships with key media contacts, pitch news stories, and secure media coverage that aligns with corporate objectives.

Content Creation: Write press releases, speeches, corporate communications, and other materials to effectively convey the company’s key messages.

Strategic Communication: Collaborate with senior leadership to craft and execute proactive PR strategies, positioning the company as an industry leader and maintaining a positive brand image.

Crisis Management: Assist in managing the company’s reputation during crises, ensuring timely and transparent communication with media and stakeholders.

Event Management: Plan and execute press conferences, media briefings, and corporate events to enhance the company’s visibility and reputation.

Internal Communication: Support internal communication strategies to keep employees informed, engaged, and aligned with corporate goals and values.

Monitoring and Reporting: Track media coverage, analyze public sentiment, and report on the effectiveness of PR campaigns.

Social Media Oversight: Collaborate with digital teams to ensure consistent messaging across social media platforms, aligning with overall corporate communications.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
• Experience: Experience in Public relations, media relations, or communications, ideally within a corporate environment.

Skills:

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Expertise in media relations, content creation, and crisis communication.
• Proficient in social media management and digital communication tools.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively across teams and with external partners.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working in [industry-specific knowledge, e.g., tech, finance, healthcare].
• Familiarity with analytics tools for media monitoring and reporting.
• Established relationships with media contacts and influencers.
