Auxis Technology, is seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of Events to lead and oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of all company events. The Director of Events will be responsible for managing a team, creating strategic event plans, and ensuring the seamless execution of both virtual and in-person events. This role requires strong leadership, excellent organizational skills, and a creative approach to delivering impactful experiences that align with the company's goals and brand.
Key Responsibilities:
Event Strategy & Planning: Develop and execute a comprehensive event strategy that aligns with the company’s goals, objectives, and brand vision.
Team Leadership: Lead and manage the events team, providing mentorship, guidance, and support to ensure successful event outcomes.
Event Design & Conceptualization: Conceptualize and design engaging events, from conferences, product launches, and trade shows, to company retreats, webinars, and more.
Budget Management: Develop and manage event budgets, ensuring cost-effective solutions while delivering high-quality experiences.
Vendor & Partner Relations: Build and maintain relationships with external vendors, venues, suppliers, and partners to secure favorable terms and ensure the highest quality of services.
Logistics Coordination: Oversee all event logistics including venue selection, catering, audiovisual, transportation, and other necessary arrangements.
Marketing & Promotion: Collaborate with the marketing team to create promotional materials, digital campaigns, and event-specific messaging to maximize attendance and engagement.
Stakeholder Engagement: Work closely with internal departments, executives, and external stakeholders to ensure alignment and success of the event.
On-Site Event Management: Provide on-site leadership during events to ensure all aspects run smoothly, troubleshooting any issues as they arise.
Post-Event Analysis: Evaluate the success of each event, gathering feedback from attendees and stakeholders to assess effectiveness, ROI, and areas for improvement.
Industry Trends: Stay informed about the latest trends in event planning, technology, and best practices to continuously innovate and enhance the company’s event strategy.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Event Management, Hospitality, Marketing, or related field.
- Experience in Event planning in a leadership or director-level role.
- Proven track record of planning and executing large-scale events and conferences.
- Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and inspire others.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle high-pressure situations and meet tight deadlines.
- Strong budget management and financial acumen.
- Proficiency in event management software and tools.
- Ability to think creatively and strategically to deliver innovative and impactful events.
- Willingness to travel and work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Event Management, Business, or a related field.
- Experience working with virtual and hybrid events.
- Knowledge of social media and digital marketing strategies as they relate to event promotion.
