About the Role:
We are looking for an experienced and dedicated Clinical Research Principal Investigator (PI) to lead and oversee clinical research studies on a PRN (as-needed) basis, due to the expansion of Auzmer Research. This is a great opportunity for a qualified medical professional to contribute to innovative clinical research while maintaining a flexible schedule.
Key Responsibilities:
- Study Leadership: Lead and manage all phases of clinical trials, ensuring strict adherence to study protocols and regulatory guidelines.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure studies are conducted in full compliance with IRB, FDA, and other relevant regulatory requirements.
- Participant Care: Oversee participant safety and well-being throughout the study, including recruitment, informed consent, and ongoing monitoring.
- Data Oversight: Ensure the accurate collection, analysis, and documentation of clinical trial data.
- Collaboration: Communicate regularly with sponsors, providing updates on study progress, compliance, and any potential issues.
- Expert Guidance: Offer clinical expertise in research design, methodology, and protocol development to ensure high-quality studies.
Qualifications:
- Education: Medical Doctor (MD), Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO), or equivalent clinical degree.
- Licensure: Current state licensure to practice medicine.
- Experience: Prior experience as a principal investigator is preferred but not required.
- Knowledge: Strong understanding of Good Clinical Practice (GCP), FDA regulations, and clinical trial management is preferred.
- Skills: Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
- Preferred Specialties: Family practice, internal medicine, or general medicine.
