Seasonal Technician Overview:
Technicians play a pivotal role in the operations of AV For You. Responsible for the full spectrum of event setup, execution, and teardown, Technicians are the backbone of our success. Our Seasonal Technicians still have many of the same responsibilities, and mostly work in tandem with our full-time permanent staff to deliver and pickup orders while seamlessly executing professional level events. While being only temporary employment, Seasonal Technicians are still required to follow all guidelines and procedures set forth by AV for You.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Cooperate with full-time employees in handling order deliveries and pickups.
- Assist in executing flawless onsite equipment setup, striking of events, and operation of events with the rest of our full-time staff.
- Maintain a pristine and safe warehouse environment including safe operations of all equipment and proper procedures.
- Assist in the warehouse with pulling and prepping orders, as well as loading orders onto our fleet for delivery
Qualifications:
- Ability to lift 55lbs or more is required.
- Possession of a clean driving record is required and proficiency in driving DOT authorized vehicles is recommended.
- Demonstrated work experience of 3-5 years in the AV for live events industry is required.
- Recommended ETCP Certification in entertainment and/or arena/theater rigging, or similar is recommended.
- Detail-oriented with exceptional multitasking abilities in fast-paced environments.
- Strong interpersonal skills, with a focus on client relations and problem-solving.
- Proven ability to work independently and effectively complete tasks.
