What You’ll Do:
Audio-Visual Installations – Build racks, mount projectors, screens, flat panels, and other AV equipment
Cable & Fiber Optics – Pull cables, install connectors, and manage fiber optic installations
Mechanical & Rack Fabrication – Assist with metal fabrication and basic rack wiring
Crestron & Extron Systems – Load and configure Crestron control systems (no programming required)
Audio Systems – Install and configure Dolby audio systems
Networking Expertise – Configure Cisco routers, switches, and wireless networks
Blueprints & Diagrams – Read and interpret CAD prints, building blueprints, and riser diagrams
️ Troubleshooting & Problem-Solving – Provide advanced troubleshooting for AV devices and systems
What We’re Looking For:
✔ 3 years of AV equipment installation (including video panels, speakers, racks, microphones, and wiring)
✔ Strong knowledge of AV control systems – including Crestron, Extron, AMX, and Biamp
✔ Hands-on experience with Cisco networking (routers, switches, and wireless configurations) is a plus
✔ Basic mechanical & electrical skills – including rack wiring and ceiling mount installations
✔ Excellent troubleshooting & communication skills
✔ AVIXA CTS/CTS-I certification is a plus
✔ Physical requirements – Ability to lift 50-60 lbs., climb, crawl, and raise items overhead
✔ Education – Associate’s degree (A.A.) or equivalent, or 2 years of education and experience
Travel Flexibility:
Must be open to occasional out-of-town travel as project demands require.
