We are a detail-oriented, customer-focused operation which provides turnkey Audio-Visual solutions to NYC's most prestigious lifestyle hotels and social venues.
We review all resumes, but candidates with experience in the following are preferred:
- Hotel/Corporate/Venue in-house AV
- Hotel/Corporate/Venue freelance AV
- Convention centers, trade shows, sporting arenas, exclusive event venues
Operational/Technical skillset expectations:
- 1-2 years AV management experience within a hospitality-related environment
- Hotels, convention/conference centers, event venues and meeting facilities
- Aide the Director of Event Technology in overseeing venue AV operations and technicians
- Foster positive working relationships with venue mgmt., support staff, clients, event planners, and AVW management
- Oversee AV equipment inventory:

- Keep open lines of communication between other AVW property inventories and the warehouse
- Provide logistics for incoming/outgoing equipment

- Technical knowledge includes:
- General advanced understanding of AUDIO:
- Ability to take over basic audio operation roles on digital mixing consoles, if necessary
- General advanced understanding of VIDEO:
- Ability to take over basic video operation roles of switching, projection, and GFX operation, if necessary
- General advanced understanding of LIGHTING:
- Ability to take over basic lighting operation roles of dimming, spot lighting, or stage washing, if necessary
- Up-lighting to enhance a rooms mood or texture
- General advanced understanding of AUDIO:
Professional skillset expectations:
- Ability to work diligently, calmly, and professionally under tight, run-of-show deadlines
- Addressing the client and venue employees with extreme professionalism and respect
- VIP customer-service. VIP experience preferred
- Attention to detail. The smallest hiccups can have the largest impact!
- Team player mindset from start to finish
- Experience with hotel, corporate, and social venue operations
