Junior AV Programmer

We are excited to be recruiting for new talent to join our growing and innovative team – Junior AV Programmer!

The responsibilities of this role may include:

• Completes assigned software implementation tasks with high quality and on schedule
• Writes structured application/interface code from specifications conforming to established methodology and standards for AV systems such as AMX, Crestron and Extron control systems
• Conducts unit tests of either new or modified AV applications
• Updates firmware on AV equipment
• Reads AV drawings
• Participates in code reviews to represent reviewed work for adherence to standards and specifications
• Writes or revises program documentation, operations documentation and user guides
• Proactively monitors the performance of assigned application software and makes approved changes to improve operating efficiency and effectiveness of assigned applications
• Proactively diagnoses and corrects applications and software problems and improve operating performance
• Documents new programs or changes to existing programs
• Performs preventive and routine maintenance
• Designs touch panel interfaces
• Assists engineers with system design
• Configures digital signal processors, A/V switchers, and other devices
• Customizes systems to our end-user's requirements
• Identifies software/hardware issues and troubleshoots them
• Provides support for existing systems
• Performs all other duties as assigned

To qualify for this position, you must possess a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a relevant technical discipline.
Additional qualifications include:

• Ability to obtain a Top Secret clearance
• Ability to travel to various CONUS and OCONUS locations as required, up to 25% of the time

Pay Range

$60,000 per year

The above pay range represents a general guideline; however, AV3, Inc. considers a number of factors when determining base pay offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions. Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
