Responsibilities
- Develop and implement community outreach programs that align with organizational goals.
- Collaborate with local agencies, organizations, and stakeholders to enhance service delivery.
- Conduct research data collection to assess community needs and evaluate program effectiveness.
- Provide addiction counseling and support services to individuals and families in need.
- Supervise volunteers and staff involved in community initiatives, ensuring effective program execution.
- Lead fundraising efforts to secure resources for community programs and services.
- Recruit participants for programs and initiatives, ensuring diverse representation from the community.
- Manage projects from inception to completion, ensuring timelines and objectives are met.
- Advocate for public health issues within the community, raising awareness and promoting available resources.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in program development or project management within a community-focused environment.
- Background in social work or public health is preferred; experience in addiction counseling is a plus.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and supervise teams effectively.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage diverse audiences.
- Experience in fundraising or grant writing is beneficial.
