Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to join our healthcare team. Duties
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Conduct physical examinations and monitor patients' vital signs.
- Provide care for patients with infectious diseases, ensuring adherence to safety standards.
- Assist in the care of pediatric patients, including those in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU).
- Support patients requiring specialized procedures such as ventilation and dialysis.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Educate patients and their families about health management and disease prevention.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Participate in training programs within a teaching hospital environment to enhance skills and knowledge.
Qualifications
- Valid Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) license in the state of practice.
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities is preferred.
- Knowledge of infectious disease care practices.
- Familiarity with sonography techniques is a plus.
- Experience in pediatrics or PICU settings is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of nursing standards and protocols.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective patient education.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
