Role: Esri ArcGIS Developer 2
Location: Atlanta, GA 30308
Duration: 03/10/2025 - 06/30/2025
NOTE: Under general supervision, designs, codes, tests, modifies and debugs Esri ArcGIS software.
Responsibilities:
Develops customized web applications, webservices, mobile, and enterprise solutions
Develops geoprocessing and GIS web services
Develops GIS web editing/mapping applications
Conducts performance, unit, system, integration, and quality assurance testing of applications
Maintains existing applications/services
Upgrades and migrates existing applications/services to current version/systems architecture
Provides end user support and creates support documentation
Works closely with other developers and architects
Estimates work effort and proposes/designs development solutions
• Programming/application development experience
• PL/SQL, SQL
• Python Scripting or ArcPy
• Esri ArcGIS Server services and GeoProcessing services development
• ArcGIS Online, ArcGIS Portal for Organization, or Hub/Community experience as Administrator
• Desktop GIS (ArcGIS Pro, ArcMap
• Esri Web/Experience Builder, Arcade
• Experience with industry-standard technologies such as HTML, CSS, XML, XSLT, Git, HTML5, Dojo, Kendo UI, Angular, Dijit, etc
• Bachelor’s in geography, GIS, computer science, or a related field
• Knowledge of IT security concepts and implementation patterns within Esri technology
• Experience with ArcGIS Apps - Field Maps, Navigator, Survey 123, Operations Dashboard, etc.
• Esri JavaScript API (must be capable of developing widgets and not just using Web App Builder)
• Esri Geoevent Processor, Roads and Highways, and/or Image Server Experience
