About the Role 

avad3 Production Managers are our clients’ primary point of contact and will ensure excellence is delivered for all events from start to finish. The Production Manager will be the hub of communication between the client and the production crew, helping bring events to life through careful planning and execution. We are looking for an organized and driven project manager, whose clients and colleagues all agree, is great to work with.

The Production Manager is a keeper of relationships. They must simultaneously maintain excellent, collaborative relationships with the client, the internal avad3 team, and the external production crew, ensuring seamless coordination between all three.  At all times, the Production Manager must be responsive, professional, and clear.

The Production Manager is a detail-oriented person and is able to oversee technical and logistical aspects of events. This role involves listening attentively, creating detailed plans, and leading event crews with precision and excellence. This role will ensure milestones are met on time, budgets are followed, and resources are utilized efficiently.

What You’ll Be Doing 
  • Foster Long-Term Relationships: Proactively identify opportunities for account growth through relationship-building
  • Event Project Management:  Take events from start to finish, guiding the process with clarity and confidence.  
  • Onsite Leadership: As crew chief, you’ll be directing the onsite crew, communicating with tact and consideration, addressing challenges head-on and solving real problems on the fly
  • Milestone Management:  Keep projects on schedule, within budget, and executed to high standards.
  • Proactive Communication:  Maintain open lines of communication with stakeholders, ensuring everyone is informed and aligned.

  • Communication:  Warm verbal and written communication skills able to articulate ideas clearly and succinctly.
  • Task Prioritization:  Manage multiple priorities simultaneously while maintaining steady progress.
  • Position Requirements 
    • Proven experience in event planning, meeting production or coordination
    • Experience working with or around live event production
    • Demonstrated success in growing and maintaining client relationships.
    • While the majority of our events take place in Northwest Arkansas, team members should be willing to travel for 10-15 events annually.
    • Strong communication skills with the ability to convey information clearly and build trust with clients and colleagues.
    • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
    • A team player who values collaboration and fosters a positive work environment.
    • We prefer candidates with a college degree, however, we also value relevant experience.
    • At minimum, candidates must have a high school diploma (or equivalent) and be at least 18 years of age.

    Unlike many in this pay range, we choose this position as hourly because events aren’t a typical 8-5 job—our team’s hard work is valued, and any time over 40 hours is honored with overtime pay.
