What are the responsibilities and job description for the Indirect Funding Specialist position at Avadian Credit Union?
The Indirect Funding Specialist is responsible for funding indirect loans and ensuring accuracy and timeliness. The Indirect Funding Specialist will interact with Finance Managers at participating dealerships to ensure completeness and accuracy of loan documents.

Education: A high school diploma or GED.

- Ensure 24 hour turnover on disbursing funds, and maintain accurate documentation of all funds disbursed for participating dealers.
- Respond to inquiries regarding loans, car values, transfers, lien releases, etc.
- Audit dealer contracts to assure the contracts meet the credit unions stated perimeters.
- Assure loans are booked correctly into Symitar.
- Maintain dealer reserves.
- Understand Avadian's computer system in order to research Avadian's member pay history and/or possible pre-approval status.
- Obtain pre-approval status of member from Credit Union at dealers' request.
- Handle situations that arise between dealership and Credit Union resulting from dealership error or omission.
- Open new accounts for non-members.
- Prepare month-end dealer reports.
- Develop and maintain procedures for all primary duties to insure they are up to date and accurate.
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
- Must have excellent written and verbal skills, positive attitude, pleasant demeanor, decisiveness, and professionalism.
- Extensive knowledge of credit union operations, services, system skills, and philosophy.
