Role Summary
Avahi is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Controller to manage and oversee the companys financial operations, including multi-entity and international financial management. This role requires hands-on expertise in accounting, payroll, compliance, and financial reporting for U.S. and foreign entities. As the financial lead for a growing organization, you will play a key role in establishing processes, ensuring compliance, and delivering actionable financial insights to support Avahis strategic goals.
Key Responsibilities
Accounting & Financial Operations
- Oversee all day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and month-end close processes.
- Maintain accurate financial records for multi-entity, multi-currency operations, including U.S., Canadian, and other foreign entities.
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and applicable international accounting standards.
- Manage payroll processing for U.S. and foreign employees, ensuring compliance with tax laws and labor regulations.
