As a CNC Operator, you will be responsible for setting up and aligning parts per blueprint in preparation for performing punching operations. You will also be responsible for setting up and operating machine tools to cut, shape, or form metal to specifications. Reporting directly to the Manager, this position is based in Houston, TX.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
- Experience: No education required, HS diploma or GED preferred. 1 to 2 years of experience required, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Skills: Forklift experience, preferred.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Set up, adjust, or operates basic or specialized machine tools used to perform precision machine operations.
- Gathers necessary materials and performs layout per specifications.
- Sets up and operates fabricating machines, such as press brake, punch presses, turret presses. and rivet machines.
- Measure, examine, or test completed units to check for defects and ensure conformance to specifications, using precision instruments, such as calipers, scales, and micrometers.
- Monitors the feed and speed of machines during the machining process.
- References blueprints and confers with lead person to determine job requirements.
- disposes of scraps or waste materials in accordance with company policies and environmental regulations.
