- Experience:
- At least 2 years of experience in manufacturing engineering with a focus on CNC programming, process optimization, and equipment management.
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles and their application in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong experience with CNC equipment, G-code, CAM software, and CAD software.
- Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- Certification in CNC programming or manufacturing engineering is preferred.
- Skills:
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy in programming and process implementation.
- Proven ability to lead and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive process improvements.
- Familiarity with process flow analysis, time studies, and workflow optimization.
- Proficient in using tools like Excel, CAD software, and ERP/MRP systems for process and resource planning.
- Develop, implement, and optimize CNC programs to improve manufacturing efficiency and product quality.
- Utilize Lean methodology to analyze production processes, identify opportunities for improvement, and eliminate non-value-added activities.
- Work closely with design and engineering teams to ensure manufacturability of new products and components.
- Collaborate with assembly leads to address manufacturing challenges related to tooling, equipment, materials, and processes.
- Maintain and troubleshoot CNC machines to ensure optimal performance and minimal downtime.
- Prepare detailed reports and summaries on production data, identifying trends and areas for improvement.
- Lead continuous improvement projects, focusing on cost reduction and production optimization.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and safety regulations in all manufacturing processes.
- This position reports directly to our Manager of Continuous Improvement.
- This is a full-time, on-site position located in Richland, MS.
- Candidates must be eligible to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship.
