JOB SUMMARY
We are looking for a Machine Maintenance Helper to join our team! In this role, you will assist with skilled maintenance and repair tasks for mechanical, electrical, and physical structures. Responsibilities include dismantling and repairing machinery, diagnosing mechanical problems, and maintaining electrical systems and fixtures. Familiarity with using hoists, cranes, and various tools is essential.
EDUCATION
- High School Diploma or GED preferred.
- 1-2 years of experience required.
- Or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS (other duties may be assigned)
- Disassemble machines, equipment, or devices to access and remove defective parts using hoists, cranes, hand tools, or power tools.
- Diagnose mechanical problems and determine repair methods, utilizing blueprints, repair manuals, or parts catalogs as necessary.
- Repair machines, equipment, or structures using tools such as hammers, hoists, saws, drills, wrenches, and precision measuring instruments or electrical/electronic testing devices.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
- Knowledge of electrical systems and ability to read blueprints and technical documentation.
- Proficient in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
