As a Material Handler, you will handle and maintain a flow of materials and products in manufacturing areas according to established guidelines.
Reporting directly to the Warehouse and Material Planning Supervisor, this position is based on site in Kewanee, IL.

- Education: HS diploma or GED required.
- Experience: Less than 1 year of experience.
- Skills: Driver’s license required. Proficiency in computer skills is required for this position.
- Accurately complete and maintain material handling data, shipping/receiving paperwork, and other data entry as required.
- Prepare and assemble kits of materials and components as per production requirements, ensuring that all items are available and ready for assembly.
- Assists in moving freight, stock, or other materials to and from storage or production areas, loading docks, delivery vehicles, or containers, by hand or using trucks, tractors, or other equipment.
- Receives written or oral instructions for work assignments and determines appropriate material and equipment needs.
- Assists with proper and secure loading and unloading of materials.
- Maintains a clean and organized warehouse environment, ensuring materials are stored in designated locations and that pathways are clear for safe movement.
- Attaches identifying tags to material and/or marks them with pertinent information.
- Performs general housekeeping duties such as sweeping and discarding of scrap/debris.
