JOB SUMMARY

Perform intricate grinder operations and processes related to cast tri-post moldings for use in gas insulated lines at power generating facilities in the US and abroad. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assemble and cast insulators used in CGIT Bus.
- Sandblast sleeves and inserts for insulator casting operations.
- Sandblast insulators.
- Grind insulators.
- Use compressed air tools, sanders, grinders, and sand blasting units on insulators.
EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE
- Equipment used: compressed air tools, sanders, grinders, and sand blasting unit.
- Other equipment used: overhead crane, ratchet straps, rubber hammer, stencil, tape measure, hand tools, and cleaning equipment.
- Able to read tape measure and blueprints.
- Able to perform simple mathematical calculations and interpret common tape measurements.
