Duties and Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Reviewing customer-provided information and participating in design review meetings to identify factors affecting product design
- Developing designs using knowledge of manufacturing methods and materials, coordinating with other departments to ensure manufacturability
- Submitting preliminary and approval drawing packages to customers, making necessary revisions as needed
- Defining, verifying, and updating bill of material requirements throughout the design process
- Ensuring accuracy by checking dimensions, materials, and relationships between parts
