We are looking for an experienced and highly motivated Senior Financial Analyst with strong accounting expertise and hands-on experience with Oracle Cloud EPBCS (Enterprise Planning and Budgeting Cloud Service) or similar to join our finance team. This hybrid role offers flexibility with in-office presence required approximately 2 days per week at our Millington, MD office. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in financial analysis, reporting, and decision-making support, focusing on budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, and performance monitoring.

- Financial Analysis & Reporting:
- Perform detailed financial analysis on cash flow, operating results, business plans, and capital requirements, including analysis of rates of return and cash flow projections.
- Prepare monthly reports for senior management, highlighting financial trends and KPIs, with a focus on salary, staffing levels, and job costing.
- Conduct in-depth research and provide interpretive insights on financial data to recommend process improvements and forecast business objectives in alignment with the economic/financial environment.
- Analyze industry and economic trends to provide forecasts that support strategic planning and business decisions.
- Budget and Cost Management:
- Assist in the creation, monitoring, and analysis of the annual budget and monthly projections.
- Coordinate with accounting teams to ensure alignment of monthly financial reports and performance data with operational results.
- Work with business leaders to analyze and track General and Administrative (G&A) expenses at the site level and ensure effective cost control measures.
- Participate in the development of business cases, providing financial insights for strategic business decisions and initiatives.
- Financial Reporting & Presentation:
- Develop and deliver accurate and timely reports for performance monitoring, highlighting financial indicators and trends.
- Create and deliver presentations for senior leadership to summarize findings, forecasts, and financial insights that impact business decisions.
- Provide ad hoc financial analyses and special reports as requested, including detailed contract reviews with project managers and site operations teams.
- Track, update, and report on cash flow projections, AR collections, and other critical financial metrics, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Operational Support:
- Assist site operations teams with daily financial management, ensuring smooth execution of the month-end close process, including posting journal and job cost entries.
- Provide customer service and support to internal teams, answering queries and resolving issues related to financial data and reports.
- Serve as a resource for financial analysis, helping site and operational teams interpret financial results and identify areas for improvement.
- Support financial audit processes and provide necessary documentation for internal and external inquiries.
- Leadership & Team Collaboration:
- May provide guidance and mentorship to less experienced team members.
- Work closely with senior leadership, accounting, and operational teams to coordinate financial processes, ensuring accurate and timely reporting.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to perform analysis on profitability, payors, utilization, and other financial metrics as required to support business decisions.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
- 5 years of experience in financial analysis or a related role, with strong knowledge of accounting principles.
- Proficient in Oracle Cloud EPBCS or similar for financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
- Solid understanding of GAAP and experience with financial reporting and analysis.
- Advanced skills in Excel, financial modeling, and variance analysis.
- Strong ability to communicate financial data to non-financial stakeholders and senior leadership.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- The compensation for this role is between $80,000-100,000 depending on experience.
