Job Summary
In this role, you will set up and perform High Voltage Electrical tests on components and assemblies.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct High Voltage Electrical tests on completed shipping assemblies in accordance with standard procedures and/or special instructions.
- Operate and check P.D measuring instrumentation, SF6 gas handling systems, and sensitive SF6 leak detectors.
- Maintain log and records of all tests performed.
- Assist in maintaining test equipment and ensuring it is calibrated.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalency (GED) preferred and some technical schooling preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
- Effective communication skills.
