Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Route Driver to join our team at Avail Portable Toilets. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering and servicing units efficiently and safely to various locations while ensuring excellent customer service. This role requires a strong understanding of local roads in LaGrange, Elkhart, and Noble counties and the ability to operate our trucks. This is a seasonal position. The ideal candidate will be available from April-October.
Duties
- Drive assigned routes to deliver products to customers in a timely manner.
- Operate delivery vehicles safely and efficiently.
- Maintain accurate delivery records in our app and ensure all jobs are completed correctly.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, office staff, and customers regarding delivery schedules and any issues that arise.
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure safety standards are met.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while on the road.
Experience
- Previous experience is ideal but NOT required.
- Willingness to be flexible in daily duties is expected.
- Ability to operate our delivery trucks is a must.
- Must be able to manage time effectively while on the road.
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with customers and team members.
