Position Overview
We are looking for a Solar Sales Manager to lead and develop a high-performing team of residential appointment setters. In this role, you will train, mentor, and guide your team to:
- Canvass neighborhoods to identify homeowners who qualify for solar.
- Educate potential customers on the benefits of solar energy.
- Schedule informational appointments with our expert sales consultants.
Your primary focus will be driving team performance and ensuring exceptional service for homeowners.
Key Responsibilities
- Recruit, train, and lead a team of residential appointment setters.
- Develop strategies to increase appointment setting and conversion rates.
- Provide ongoing coaching and support to maximize team success.
- Monitor and report key performance metrics to optimize results.
- Foster a high-energy, goal-driven team culture.
- Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to drive lead generation.

- Target Pay: $200,000 USD per year (DOE)

Qualifications
You’re a great fit if you:
- Have proven experience in sales management, preferably in solar, home improvement, or door-to-door sales (e.g., DirecTV, Pest Control, Alarm, Smart Home).
- Excel in leadership roles and know how to motivate and develop teams.
- Possess strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Have reliable transportation and a smartphone with data.
- Are 18 years or older and legally authorized to work in the U.S.
Ideal Prior Experience:
- Background in residential canvassing or field sales.
- Experience in hospitality or the service industry.
- Prior work in the solar industry (a significant plus).
