Job Overview :
We are seeking a passionate and qualified Special Education teacher to join St. Michael High School. This role involves collaborating with colleagues and families as well as fostering an inclusive classroom environment that helps students achieve their academic, social, and emotional goals.
Key Responsibilities :
Instruction and Student Support
- Develop and deliver individualized instruction based on students' IEP goals and learning needs.
- Use evidence-based teaching strategies and accommodations to support diverse learners.
- Provide support in core academic subjects, life skills, and social-emotional development.
- Foster independence and self-advocacy skills in students.
