Job Overview
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Home Health Aides to provide essential support and care to individuals in their homes. As a Home Health Aide, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the quality of life for our clients, ensuring they receive the assistance they need with daily activities and personal care. This position is ideal for individuals who have a passion for helping others and possess experience in senior care, long-term care, or memory care.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a positive environment.
- Help with mobility and transfers, ensuring client safety at all times.
- Administer medication as prescribed and monitor clients' health status.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the client's living space.
- Document care provided and report any changes in the client's condition to the healthcare team.
- Support clients with memory care needs and those with developmental disabilities by implementing individualized care plans.
- Collaborate effectively with family members and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
Requirements
- Previous experience in senior care, long-term care, or hospice care is preferred.
- Knowledge of medical terminology and home care systems is advantageous.
- Strong caregiving skills with a focus on compassion and empathy.
- Ability to maintain a clean and safe environment for clients.
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with clients, families, and team members.
- Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Certification as a Home Health Aide or similar qualification is a plus but not mandatory.

Pay: $18.10 - $18.50 per hour
