What are the responsibilities and job description for the Escape Room Cast Member position at Avalanche Escape Rooms?
Avalanche Escape Rooms is Alaska's Premier Escape Game Venue. We provide clean entertainment for families, team bonding, company team building, or an exciting evening out with friends.
Join the world of live action Escape Room games with Avalanche Escape Rooms. We are looking for someone who likes to work directly with customers, is outgoing, creative, and can think on their feet. Interested in joining our team?
We are looking for a cast member to join our ranks.
At Avalanche Escape rooms, we work as a team and cross train to make sure we can cover the diverse tasks before us.
Game Character is a unique opportunity to interact with our customers during game play. Each game room has a character that watches over the team playing and provides hints at just the right time to keep the game moving while making sure customers are having a good time. The characters are based on the storyline of the game. Maintaining your character while interacting with the team is a must. Being able to watch and understand where people are in the game, what their frustration level is, and determining how much help they may need is critical to this role.
Front Desk tasks include greeting customers, checking them in for their game, and providing the game briefing. Also, answering phones, booking games, and replying in customers e-mails is required. Between games, make sure the front lobby is picked up and restrooms are kept clean and tidy. If customers are in our event room, make sure that their needs are met. When games are completed, assist in game room resets. Front Desk Attendant will also work with the team to make sure opening and closing tasks are completed and help maintain our facility.
Other tasks may include creation of new games and puzzles. Tasks vary widely here, but we work together to storyboard new games, come up with new puzzles and build and assemble our games. Creativity and imagination fuel Avalanche Escape Rooms to keep us moving forward in game design and innovation.
