About the Technical Data Analyst position :
The Technical Data Analyst will report to the Manager, Health Analytics. This role will be responsible for managing multiple core data functions in support of the Medical Economics, Financial Planning and Analysis, and Actuarial departments. The Technical Data Analyst provides data and technical expertise for the development of core models (underwriting, forecasting, etc.), reports, special projects, and ad-hoc needs.
This position is eligible for remote work, but quarterly travel to the corporate office in Tampa, Florida will be required.
Technical Data Analyst - Essential Functions and Responsibilities :
- Data extract / transform / and load (ETL)
- Creation and maintenance of SQL scripts and stored procedures used in Underwriting / Pricing analysis and ad-hoc analysis
- Performing Analysis of unstructured data and models
- SQL Server database administration / maintenance
- Automated / scheduled jobs creation and maintenance
- Data reconciliation activities
- Population / maintenance of Tableau dashboards
- Developing new models and dashboards in Tableau
