The Avalon Library & History Center is seeking a customer service-focused individual to join our Programming team for our active 2025 summer season!
Applicants must have work or educational experience demonstrating strong communication and interpersonal skills and be comfortable managing large groups.
Duties include supporting youth, teen, and adult programs with setup and monitoring, which may involve arranging folding chairs and tables.
Must be comfortable working in high stress situations and be willing to travel to programs and events within Avalon.
Must be willing to engage with patrons of all ages and be comfortable at indoor or outdoor events.
Event and/or program planning experience and a HS Diploma or equivalent, required.
$22.50/hour, 19 hours/week
Anticipated Season: June 23, 2025 – Labor Day 2025
Anticipated schedule: Mondays and Tuesdays 9 am to 2 pm, most Wednesday evenings, and one rotating shift either Thursday, Friday, or Saturday weekly depending on program needs.
