Job Description:
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking individual to join our team as a Dishwasher at the Southern Utah Veterans Home. The Dishwasher will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of all dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment. Duties include washing dishes, pots, pans, and other cooking utensils, as well as keeping the dishwashing area clean and organized. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, or pans using dishwashers or by hand
- Maintain a clean and tidy work area
- Follow sanitation policies at all times
- Assist with kitchen cleaning and organization tasks as needed
- Ensure all dishes and utensils are properly stored
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a dishwasher or in a similar role preferred
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to lift and carry heavy items
- Excellent communication skills
