Job Description: Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct routine audits of clinical practices to ensure adherence to established protocols.
- Identify trends, gaps, and areas for improvement in patient care and safety.
- Develop and implement corrective action plans in collaboration with clinical teams.
- Prepare and submit timely reports to regulatory agencies, including CMS, CDPH, and state health departments as applicable.
- Maintain knowledge of healthcare regulations, including CMS, CDPH, and LA County.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to maintain the highest standards of patient safety and care.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in nursing (BSN) required; Master's degree in nursing or healthcare administration preferred.
- Active RN license in the state of California.
- Minimum of 3 years of clinical nursing experience; prior experience in quality assurance or performance improvement preferred.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
- Proficiency in quality improvement tools such as NHSN databases as well as Athena and Point Click Care EMR systems.
