The Director of Outpatient Services is responsible for the leadership, administration, and coordination of all outpatient clinic operations. This role includes overseeing staff, optimizing workflows, managing budgets, ensruing regulatory compliance, and enhancing patient satisfaction. The ideal candidate is an experience healthcare professional with strong organizational and leadership skills.

Essential Duties
- Supervise daily operations of the Rural Health Clinic to ensure efficiency and high-quality patient care.
- Manage clinic staff, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance evaluation.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to improve workflows and compliance.
- Monitor clinic finances, including budgeting, billing, and cost management.
- Ensure compliance with all healthcare regulations, accreditation standards, and hospital policies.
- Work closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare providers to enhance service delivery.
- Address patient concerns and implement strategies for continuous improvement.
- Maintain and optimize electronic health records (EHR) systems, specifically Athena, and other healthcare technology.
- Develop and oversee quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes.
- Collaborate with hospital administration to align clinic goals with organizational objectives.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Strong knowledge of Rural Health Clinica operations, healthcare regulations, and best practices.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to effectively manage teams and foster a positive work environment.
- Experience with electronic health records (EHR), specifically Athena, and medical billing processes.
- Knowledge of outpatient services and patient care coordination.
Education/Experience
- Active and unrestricted LVN or RN license in the state of California.
- Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, nursing, business, or a related field preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a healthcare setting, with at least 1-2 years in a supervisory or management role.
