Quality Assurance Nurse
The Quality Assurance Nurse (QAN) plays a vital role in ensuring the highest standards of patient safety and care within our hospital.
Main Responsibilities:
- Evaluate, monitor, and improve the quality of patient care to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
- Oversee quality improvement initiatives and prepare reports for leadership and regulatory bodies.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to maintain the highest standards of patient safety and care.
Key Skills:
- Identify trends, gaps, and areas for improvement in patient care and safety.
- Analyze data related to patient outcomes, infections, and adverse events.
- Develop and implement quality improvement projects aimed at enhancing patient outcomes and operational efficiency.
- Provide education and training to staff on quality assurance and process improvement methodologies.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in nursing (BSN) required; Master's degree in nursing or healthcare administration preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of clinical nursing experience; prior experience in quality assurance or performance improvement preferred.
- Certified Professional in Healthcare of Quality (CPHQ) or similar certification preferred.
