Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and organized Medical Receptionist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for patients and will play a crucial role in ensuring a smooth and welcoming experience. Duties
- Greet patients warmly as they arrive at the facility and assist them with the check-in process.
- Answer phone calls promptly, providing excellent phone etiquette while addressing inquiries and scheduling appointments.
- Maintain patient records accurately, ensuring all information is up-to-date and compliant with privacy regulations.
- Utilize medical software such as Meditech and Medisys for patient management, appointment scheduling, and billing processes.
- Assist with tasks such as filing, scanning and maintaining office supplies.
- Communicate effectively with patients, staff, and healthcare providers.
Skills
- Strong phone etiquette to ensure professional communication with patients.
- Experience using Meditech software is highly desirable.
- Previous experience as a receptionist or in a similar role is advantageous.
