Overview
We are seeking a skilled Medical Assistant to join our team at a Level II Trauma Center. The ideal candidate will have experience in both inpatient and clinic settings, providing medical administrative support and delivering exceptional patient care.
Responsibilities
- Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations and procedures
- Perform vital sign measurements and record patient information accurately
- Provide medical administrative support including scheduling appointments and maintaining patient records
- Utilize knowledge of anatomy to assist with patient education and explanations
- Conduct X-Ray procedures under the guidance of healthcare professionals
Experience
- Previous experience in internal medicine or related field is preferred
- Familiarity with coding and medical terminology
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Certification as a Medical Assistant is a plus
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.90 - $21.84 per hour
