What are the responsibilities and job description for the General Laborer Production position at Avalon Services Group?
Schedule : Mon - Fr : 3:00PM - 12:00AM
Objective: Perform general cleaning tasks in a warehouse environment.
Essential Duties:
- Keep floors clean (sweep, mop, vacuum)
- Collect trash and cardboard
- Keep bathrooms clean (including toilets, sinks, countertops, replenish paper towels and soap)
- Keep the cafeteria clean and tidy (including coffee dispensers, cups and napkins, tables, sinks, and countertops).
- Dust offices
- Sweep and mop warehouse floors
- Vacuum hallways
- Follow safety guidelines
- Perform other tasks as needed
You must be able to…
- Work effectively in a team.
- Follow oral and written instructions.
- Demonstrate good attendance and punctuality.
- Work independently when necessary.
Physical Requirements…
- Constant (100%) standing and walking during the workday.
- Frequent (70%) pushing, pulling, gripping, stretching, bending, twisting, reaching above the head.
- Occasionally (30%) crouching, climbing, and tightening.
- Must be able to lift/push/pull more than 50 lbs.
