Director of Asset Management

You will support regional Asset Management leadership in preparing long-term investment plans, managing financial modeling, mitigating risk, and executing asset-specific strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee asset management activities for a portfolio of multifamily communities owned by AvalonBay and joint venture investors.
- Identify NOI-enhancing opportunities such as amenity monetization, revenue generation, and parking asset optimization.
- Analyze market data and asset performance to develop strategic value-add initiatives.
- Oversee capital investment programs, including feasibility analysis and execution.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to define key performance indicators (KPIs) and track portfolio performance against competitors and market trends.
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree required; MBA in Finance, Real Estate, or related field preferred.
- 7 years of experience in asset management, acquisition underwriting, or property management, preferably in multifamily real estate.
