About the Role:
The Caregiver is responsible for providing exceptional care and support to residents in a part-time swing shift position with weekend availability. The caregiver will assist with daily living activities, life enrichment programs, and maintain a safe environment for residents.
Responsibilities:
- Care for residents and assist in updating each resident's service plan.
- Assist with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, and eating.
- Encourage residents to participate in the Life Enrichment Program.
- Maintain a safe environment for residents.
- Create an atmosphere of warmth, patience, enthusiasm, calm, and joy.
- Document and communicate resident changes.
- Maintain confidentiality of all resident care according to HIPAA guidelines.
Requirements:
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- HCA or CNA license preferred (required if applying in Washington).
- First Aid & CPR Certification required within 30 days of employment.
- Food Handlers Card required within 30 days of employment.
- Experience caring for and interacting with elderly individuals desired.
