Our client is looking for an entry level (0-2 years) Associate Engineer who is motivated to fast track their career delivering real world engineering solutions. As an Associate Civil Engineer, you will be responsible for preparing plans under the guidance of a Project Manager. You will work closely with the project team to ensure successful project delivery and client satisfaction. This role requires strong technical skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Responsibilities :
Positive attitude and strong willingness to continually learn and grow
Committed to teamwork and project deadlines
Research, interpret and apply city standards, codes and zoning requirements as it applies to sites
Prepare title sheets, Erosion Control Plan, Survey, Site Improvement Plan and Fire Master Plan under direction of Project Manager
Communicate with agencies and plan checkers
Prepare comment response letters
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
Knowledge of relevant regulations and codes
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team
Experience in AutoCad
EIT license preferred.
