Licensed Civil Engineer Job Description
We are seeking a Licensed Civil Engineer with a passion for innovative design in site development and stormwater management . Our work spans residential, commercial, and institutional sectors, including subdivisions, campuses, commercial developments, solar arrays, green infrastructure projects, sports & recreational facilities, and landscape design. Responsibilities :
Prepare SWPPPs with hydrology calculations and erosion & sediment control plans .
Design potable water and sanitary sewer facilities, stormwater infrastructure, grading, driveways, and sidewalks .
Conduct engineering studies and reports for water, sanitary sewer, and stormwater projects.
Prepare SEQR documentation and municipal permit applications .
Provide construction support in an office setting with occasional field visits.
Qualifications :
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
Professional Engineer (PE) license required .
Minimum 5 years of civil engineering experience with a strong portfolio.
Familiarity with CAD and computer hydrology programs preferred.
Proficiency in Windows-based software (word processing, spreadsheets, databases).
Ability to work in both office and construction environments .
Strong skills in technical writing, communication, marketing, and client interaction .
Experience in preparing and presenting proposals .
